Unique identification of samples is a mandatory requirement. Identification labels that are printed from IMPERIUM LIMS may include not only the unique serial number, but also any data related to the order or sample. The layout and content are set individually by the user per label printer. If the sample is sent to the laboratory by the customer's own identifier / label, it is possible to re-label the sample so that the IMPERIUM LIMS will continue to track the original identifier of the sample.
